Richard is the Media Content Manger for Success4.com. He has a BA Honours in Film and Television Production from ARU in Cambridge where he went on to manage the Multi Camera TV Studio as well as teaching film editing, directing for film and writing for screen.

Richard has worked at BBC Voice, managing the television studio as well as running Appletree Media Norwich which made documentaries and promotional video's for social services. He also worked in broadcast Radio at BBC Radio Norfolk and Star Radio in Cambridge. He now manages the online content for Success4.com as well as creating the video and podcast content for Success4 and Success4's clients.

He also mentors on his Feed Your Social Media Monster training course which he designed and delivers to help success4 clients to creative innovative and creative content for their social media pages.

COACHING FOR GEEKS WITH ROBIN BATES

The coaching world is full of creative, innovative and talented individuals and Robin Bates is definitely one of them. We recently spoke with Robin about his company Coaching For Geeks, and how he is helping people like himself with dating, fitness, business management, building new social circles and much more.

Who are we ?
The Coaching for Geeks team has a quest to turn geeks into superheroes – living the best geeky lives; confidently achieving more, being fitter, happier, flirtier, and having more fun.

Robin is an award-winning coach and licensed practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Integral Eye Movement Therapy and was once described as a “mind wizard”.

His passion, beyond Nintendo, Steven Universe, and table top roleplaying games, is in empowering geeks and nerds to get more satisfaction from life; having once been a shy boy who fell behind himself, he understands the challenges of getting ahead in the world.

His Coaching for Geeks c-c-c-combo approach of online programmes with 1-2-1 coaching and change work (to unfuck your mind if you have mental blocks, like the long piece in Tetris) has resulted in numerous geeks gaining XP, levelling up, finding their purpose, getting new jobs, starting businesses, taking that trip, finding their voice, filling their heart containers, and saving the princess*.

Robin also speaks at events, runs workshops, webinars, and does his best to avoid Game of Thrones spoilers.
