DEFINE YOUR FEARS – TIM FERRISS
In this incredible TEDTalk Tim Ferris talks about the element of chance. How he came to this understanding from the edge of suicide. Tim has bipolar depression and in this TEDTalk Tim gives his recipe for saving yourself from self destruction.
Tim encourages us to take a closer look at our Fears. To write them down and dissect them in order to see how they came about, how they effect our lives and they how they often sneak in the back door and stop us from achieving our long term goals.
People of action use stoicism, which is training yourself from what you can control from what you cannot control. Tim found the saying “We suffer more often in our imagination than in reality” by Seneca. This quote helped Tim define his approach to looking at his fears in a way that helped him move forward in his personal life and business.
