FROM NOTHING TO SOMETHING – TIM HAN (MY STORY)
In this video, Tim Han tells his story about how he went from being an addict and working a low paid job to where he is today as a successful entrepreneur, speaker and businessman in his own right. In 1997 Tim’s mum met an new partner and they moved to Sydney Australia in 1999 and then to a traditional English town in England.
Tim was often bullied in this small English town for his ethnicity which was uncommon in that area. Tim became shy and introvert and began to hate school, pretending to be sick so he did not have to go to attend school, going so far as to make himself physically sick. Tim began to create a world inside a computer game called Rune scape and in addition his Rune Scape Youtube Channel became incredibly popular.
In this incredible video Tim talks about his journey, incorporating video evidence of his past with reference of how he used to be and how he is now.
In 2005 Tim moved on to high school, and Tim made a promise to himself that he would no longer be that shy boy he had become and he would get in with the cool kids. Unfortunately the cool kids were into drugs, alcohol and violence. He then began to sell the drugs using his mothers money thinking it was a good investment.
In 2008 Tim’s mum caught him doing all the things he wanted to hide from his her. SHE caught him smoking weed in the wooden shed with his friends. During a long walk, Tim’s mum told him how she sacrificed her life to give him the best chance at a beautiful life of his own, she asked him “Will you be there for me when I need you?” this day was was a turning point for Tim.
After one last night drinking and subsequently vomiting up the evenings consumption, Tim crawled to his bed with the thought that something boring to watch would help him sleep, So Tim typed in presentation and what came up in the google search was this video below by Steve Jobs.
This was another seed that was sowed in Tim’s life and here came the change.
