Leon Taylor talks about how mental health is ever becoming a big issue and that we all spend too much time in our heads and not in our bodies. Inactivity can have negative effects on both your physical health, and also your mental health – with stress being the opening factor to all the negative effects.
Leon shows us that moving and doing physical activities is key to opening up the mind and making us feel better, boosting self esteem and making us feel more confident. The body will help the mind work for us and keep us focused.
If you mind yourself stressed, simply getting up and going for a walk could be the aid you need to get moving in your mind again. The change in posture and direction can make the difference. Also, find your activity – there will be your something that fills you with joy. Something that makes you happy when you move. Find that and you will see a difference in your mind.
