Tim looks at how he has built his network, he recommends on going narrow and going long. Most people go to Network meetings, get a tone of business cards and then send an email to people they have no connection with hoping to get some exchange.

When you go to network meetings, try to meet the moderators and maybe not the main key speaker. The moderator will know all the key players and their recommendations will be personally from someone they trust. Ask an important question “is there anyone else you think i might enjoy meeting?”
