RICHARD BANDLER – TREATING MENTAL ILLNESS WITH NATURAL CURES

In this interview the creator of The Best You, Bernardo Moya speaks with one of the fathers of NLP Richard Bandler on his thoughts about treating mental illness. Richard speaks about how he used to go into mental hospitals and talk directly with the family members to offer them alternative natural cures.

Richard talks about seeing “Chronic Illness” wards and electric shock treatment and how over medicated some of the patients were. Richard wanted to know if he could reach people who were deemed to far gone, he did outrageous things to reach these patients who were left deep within their illness.

“You don’t study depressed people to find out how to treat depressed people, you study happy people and teach that to the depressives” – Richard Bandler
